The Quintanes School supports traditional Catalan fairs. On Sunday, January 5, 2025, the eve of the Epiphany, the 28th Kings’ Fair and the 13th Livestock Exhibition took place. The Kings’ Fair in Casserres attracted a large crowd from the region and surrounding areas.
Food, handicrafts, livestock, exhibitions, raffles, competitions, and agricultural machinery were the highlights of the fair. The traditional rural breakfast with local products was also featured. All events at the fair were organized by local associations: Amics Ramaders and the Village Merchants Association.
Once again, the famous and historic Radio Puig-Reig, present at the fair, hosted the roundtable discussion on the livestock sector. Quintanes was represented by one of its monitors, who shared their perspective on the sector.
Once again, the strength of the country’s local fairs was demonstrated, giving visibility to the agricultural sector and providing all the vital support needed to make it a key element in our region’s economy.
